Changing page styles within OpenOffice
Use the floating styles window. Click on the page styles button. Now click on Create New Style from Selection. Call it 'Graphics' for example. I want this page to be landscape while everything else is portrait. So no go to the page you wish to rotate. Use Insert > Manual Break > Page Break and choose the style 'Graphic'. That's all!
